Just what does matter is cutting the amount of calories you consume every single day and sticking to it.

Surprisingly, while earlier research has revealed both low carbohydrate and low fat diet plans to work, the latest work found a far more primary rule to be true – losing weight comes down to calories ingested verses calories burned off of each day.
Take in less calories than you burn off and you will lose excess fat.
“The hidden secret is it does not matter much if you concentrate on low-carb,” or low-fat stated Dr. Elizabeth Nabel, director of the National Heart, Lung as well as Blood Institute, the organization which funded the research.
The study appeared in the February 26, 2009 New England Journal of Medicine (along with an accompanying editorial) and involved a team led by Harvard School of Public Pennington and Health Biomedical Research Center.
